NYC up-and-coming singer/songwriter Celia has delivered empowering production in the form of 'Studio Rat'. It's an anthem on self-acceptance led by her signature folktronica pop sound founded upon acoustic instrumentals with touches of atmospheric electronic production; a tender yet mesmerising exploration of feeling like you need to conform to the standards and expectations of others. The track urges us to shed the burden of being an 'ideal woman', just to receive love or approval and instead live life fully and happily as ourselves.
